CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Volleyball, Horses/Equestrian, Adventure, Dance, Theater, Fine Arts/Crafts, and more. Arts & Crafts, Sports, Zip Line, Rafting, Health Living, & Horse Shows.
CAMP LOCATION: Camp Hobbit Hill is located 15 minutes northwest from Asheville, NC on 48 acres of breathtaking mountain views.
CAMP FACILITIES: We have modern cabin with air conditioning for those hot summer nights. In our community kitchen, we pride on healthy meals everyday. Hobbit Hill has an indoor/outdoor area for horseback riding. This way camper can ride in most weather situations. Along with riding, we offer arts and crafts, sports, zip lining, rafting, night trail rides, and more.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Our goal is to make sure young campers will leave Camp Hobbit Hill with friendships that they can build on for a lifetime, a better sense of who they are, and more confidence that they can successfully meet the challenges they face in the coming year.
Campers will get 4 1/2 hours of riding time 6 days a week. After first day of camp, each rider will get paired up with a horse based on ability and experience. During riding time, you will have lessons in fundamentals, hunter-jumping techniques, and trail riding. Our riding facility has an indoor riding arena for rainy days. One bonus feature about Hobbit Hill will be a horse show for campers only every two weeks. Families are more than welcome to visit.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: We offer a CIT program for girls ages 16-18 years old. Those enrolled in CIT will become remodel to younger campers.
CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: None at this time. Possibility next year.
FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): Families can visit once per session. We also offer a horse show every two weeks for campers only, families are more than welcome to attend.
YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: Hobbit Hill offers year-round horseback riding lessons, boarding, and shows. If you would like more information please email or call Hobbit Hill farms and stables.
