CAMPER AGES: 7-16
TYPE OF CAMP: Overnight/Sleepaway.
CAMPER GENDER(S): Coed Campers.
BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: At Timber Lake we foster values of sharing, integrity, responsibility, and respect in a friendly, safe environment of fun. We teach children the skills of making and keeping friends, while building their self-esteem, self-confidence and resilience. We are a traditional, 7 week, co-ed camp.
CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Volleyball, Swimming, Gymnastics, Cheerleading, Soccer, Tennis, Golf, Weightloss, Waterfront/Aquatics, Dance, Theater, Musical Theater, Video/Filmmaking/Photography, Fine Arts/Crafts, Basketball, Baseball, Football, and more.
CAMP LOCATION: Timber Lake Camp sits one-half mile high on a mountaintop nestled by 500 privately owned acres in New York's Catskill Mountains, just 2 1/2 hours from New York City.
CAMP FACILITIES: A traditional, co-ed camp, completely secluded and features two private spring-fed lakes and an outstanding array of top notch facilities on magnificently manicured grounds.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The court is our classroom - we focus on good sportsmanship, quality instruction, fun and safety! Our athletic program features top-quality instruction by experienced varsity & college coaches on outstanding facilities. The right balance between competition and just having fun allows every camper to be comfortable joining in, while promoting TEAMWORK AND SPIRIT. Winning is great, but our goal is that every camper walks off the field or court with more friends, more confidence, and higher self-esteem.
CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Campers entering the 11th grade are eligible to participate in our Leadership Training Program (LPT).
YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: We host several reunions in various age groups throughout the year.
CAMP SESSION DATES & FEES:
Timber Lake is a full session camp, beginning on June 25th and ending on August 14th.
